NYC nonprofit group to pick 72,000 city residents for mayoral election year survey
January 18, 2017
The Citizens Budget Commission is listening — and now, New Yorkers, it’s up to you.
The nonpartisan, nonprofit civic group hopes to hear from 72,000 randomly-chosen city residents for its mayoral election year survey on municipal services and quality of life.
The two issues “must be understood both through performance measures and through public perception,” said Carol Kellermann, president of the CBC.
“It’s not enough, for instance, to demonstrate that crime is low. The public must also feel safe.”
